1904 Mafia Violin Case - Hand Crafted by Giacobbe Mazone
This historic 'Unorthodox' work of art was designed, crafted and painted by Giacobbe Mazone in 2010. It is an trademarked G.S.B. Coffin-Style Violin Case manufactured Circa 1904. There is also an original (Circa 1942) butt-end of an authentic Tommy Gun (Thompson Submachine Gun) fastened inside; which comically protrudes out of the violin case.
Prior to its make-over by Mazone in 2010, this rare case was rumored to have been used briefly by Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin (Early 1960s) in their Sand's Copa Room show. Mazone designed this artistic wooden case for a Las Vegas Wine Bar that later bankrupted.
Additional materials used by Mazone include Wood Varnish, Acrylic Paint, Clear Coating, Foam Sealant, Metal Screws and wire organizer. It measures 35" (L) x 9" (W).
